The Economist Names Nathaniel Hendren One of the “Eight Best Young Economists of the Decade”
Nathaniel Hendren has been named one of “Eight Best Young Economists of the Decade” by The Economist.  He joins a short list of 32 scholars -- including Raj Chetty in 2008 -- in receiving the honor, which is only awarded once a decade since 1988.

Chetty, Friedman, and Hendren Launch Opportunity Insights
A new research and policy institute focused on improving economic opportunity was announced today. Opportunity Insights is founded by Raj Chetty, John Friedman, and Nathaniel Hendren and represents a partnership between leading economists from Harvard University and Brown University. The institute’s research on economic mobility harnesses the power of big data to document both the decline of the American Dream and potential solutions to revive it. Its central mission is to develop scalable policy solutions that empower families throughout the United States to rise out of poverty and achieve better life outcomes.
