A central part of Opportunity Insights’ mission is to train the next generation of researchers and policy leaders on methods to study and improve economic opportunity and related social problems.
Based at Harvard University, our team of researchers and policy analysts work together to analyze new data and create a platform for local stakeholders to make more informed decisions.
Predoctoral Fellow
Vinay is a predoctoral fellow at Opportunity Insights researching higher education and access to housing with Professors Raj Chetty, Nathan Hendren, and John Friedman. He graduated from Rutgers University in 2020, where he studied economics, mathematics, and philosophy and researched racial disparities in the U.S. criminal justice system. Prior to joining Opportunity Insights, he worked as a research analyst at the Brattle Group in New York.
