Sebastian Puerta is a Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow at Opportunity Insights. Originally from Medellin, Colombia and raised in Metro Atlanta, Sebastian graduated from the University of Georgia with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics. His research interests are in segregation, education, and inequality. Prior to joining Opportunity Insights, Sebastian worked as a summer research analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
