Research
Christian Mott is a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at Opportunity Insights. Originally from Lexington, MA, Christian received his BA in Philosophy from Yale University and his JD from Yale Law School. Prior to joining Opportunity Insights, Christian worked as a law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the Massachusetts Court of Appeals and as an associate at Covington & Burling LLP. Christian’s prior research has examined how people think about criminal punishment, mental states central to criminal law, nudges, and happiness. He has also written on legal issues related to mortgage foreclosure and federal banking regulation.
